The highly anticipated meeting between BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Chief Advisor Professor Yunus has concluded. Though discussions were expected to last until 11:00 AM local time, Tarique Rahman was seen departing the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane in Central London at 10:30 AM, an hour and a half after the meeting began.
During the meeting, Tarique Rahman presented the Chief Advisor with a pen and a book as gifts, according to the Chief Advisor's press secretary.
Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP's National Standing Committee, is set to speak with local and international media on behalf of the BNP regarding the nearly 90-minute meeting. This information was confirmed by Professor Dr. Mawdud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, convener of the BNP Media Cell.
Currently, preparations are underway for a joint press briefing at the same venue, where both the Chief Advisor's press wing and BNP leaders will address the media. Akbar Hossain, Press Minister at the Bangladesh High Commission in London, confirmed these arrangements.
