Five-Year-Old Boy Survives Dramatic Plunge from Dagenham Rooftop

A five-year-old boy has miraculously survived after falling from a rooftop in east London on Monday afternoon. The dramatic incident, which occurred on Church Elm Lane near Dagenham Heathway Tube station, was captured on CCTV and has left the community in shock.

The harrowing footage shows the young boy plummeting to the concrete pavement from what is believed to be a two- or three-story building. A nearby woman, who appeared to be a family member, rushed to his side immediately, while others quickly called for help. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m., with the first paramedic arriving in less than five minutes.

The rapid response included an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a fast response car paramedic, and London's Air Ambulance, which landed at Old Dagenham Park. Church Elm Lane was closed to traffic from the Tasty kebab shop to the Church Elm Lane Health Centre as officials worked at the scene. The boy was treated by paramedics before being taken by road to a major trauma center.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the fall.
