UK Awami jubo League Protests in London

The UK Awami Jubo League organized a protest meeting in London on Sunday against the alleged banning of Awami League activities, a conspiracy to give a corridor to Myanmar, the arrest of thousands of Awami League activists, looting and arson of homes, and accusations of handing over St. Martin's Island. The protest took place at Altab Ali Park in East London.


The event was presided over by Fakhrul Islam Madhu, President of the UK Jubo League, and conducted by General Secretary Selim Ahmed Khan. Leaders and activists from the Awami League, Youth League, and Chhatra League were present.


The chief guest was Abdur Rahman, Presidium Member of the Bangladesh Awami League and former Minister of Fisheries and Livestock. Special guests included former minister Khalid Mahmud, former Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, former Member of Parliament for Sylhet-3 Habibur Rahman, General Secretary of the UK Awami League Syed Sajidur Rahman Farooq, Abdul Ahad Chowdhury, Afzal Ahmad, Jamal Ahmad Khan, Foyez Ahmad, and Babul Ahmad, among others.
