It is reported that the father was outside the house at the time of the incident. The unfortunate mother's mutilated body, scarred by her own son's knife, now awaits a post-mortem examination. It will be known after the investigation whether the killer son brought the knife with him from outside or used a knife from his mother's kitchen to murder her.
The community is stunned by the gruesome incident where the killer, born from the very womb of his mother, murdered her in her own bedroom.
Daily Dazzling Dawn has confirmed with Councillor Abu Talha Chowdhury that the killer murdered his own mother.

The victim's husband is a regular worshipper at the local mosque; he always offers his prayers there. The father returned from the mosque after Isha prayers and was stunned to witness the horrific nature of the incident. It's unclear whether the killer murdered his mother plan fully because no one else was home while the father was at the mosque, or if the killing happened during an argument.
The deceased housewife's home is in Sunamganj, Sylhet. According to family sources, the time and place for her funeral prayer will be determined once the body is released after the post-mortem.
