Seven men have been arrested after four men were found with stab wounds following an altercation on Bromley High Street in south-east London.
The incident happened at around 2.15pm on Thursday, 10 September, prompting a major emergency services response involving the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Officers attending the scene found four men suffering from stab wounds. Three were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening, while a fourth man was left in a critical condition.
Police said all seven arrested men remain in custody as enquiries continue. There is currently not believed to be any wider threat to the public.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called following reports of an altercation on Bromley High Street shortly after 2.15pm.
Emergency crews attended alongside police and found the four injured men at the scene.
The London Ambulance Service said it received the call at 2.19pm and sent ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic.
London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched as part of the emergency response.
All four patients were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.
The condition of the three men with non-life-threatening injuries has not been disclosed beyond the description provided by police. One man remains in a critical condition.

One witness described seeing what they called an “endless” stream of emergency vehicles responding to the incident.
A local resident told MyLondon that Bromley is generally a busy town centre but said they had not previously felt unsafe or particularly concerned about crime in the area.
Another resident said the rapid response from emergency services was reassuring, pointing to the proximity of local police and fire stations.
Their comments came as emergency services dealt with the serious incident in the town centre.
Despite the seriousness of the stabbing, the Metropolitan Police has said there is not believed to be any wider threat to the public.
The investigation remains active, with the seven arrested men still in custody and officers continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
